Living Sea

He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.

Man looks on in awe.

His spiritual eyes, his heart, whispers to his soul. He hears. But doesn’t listen.

He sees only with physical eyes. Scratching his head. His camera lens captures the remarkable sight also.

Why does he pause. Reluctant to consider the prospect of a higher realm behind the phenomena.

  1. Intellect
  2. Reflection
  3. Contemplation
  4. Remembrance

In that order one can reach out to divine dimensions. One must surrender to his weakness (humility) and see beyond, to the greater power of a God. Who leaves numerous signs on the horizon like a puzzle.

Look up and consider it was Him.

A Fine Art

The global human population is approximately 8.3 billion in 2026. Add to that every person who lived since the beginning of man (Adam).

In the 1858–1880s, a Pioneering Science, prints were taken to identify humans in crime scenes.

Two hands. Ten fingers. No two digits the same. Each human unique from the other. Our blueprint. Our pattern. Our identity. Taking this into consideration,

Are we created by random chance? If so, then why the singular patterns?

Are we created by a Higher Realm? If so then does this not instil wonder and cause to reflect His awesome godly power?

Cue thunder!

The Call

When he saw a fire, he said to his family, “Wait here, ˹for˺ I have spotted a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a torch from it, or find some guidance at the fire.” But when he approached it, he was called, “O Moses! It is truly I. I am your Lord! So take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Ṭuwa. I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed:

‘It is truly I. I am God! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Me. So worship Me ˹alone˺, and establish prayer for My remembrance.’

Hair raising account of Moses and the Burning Bush. His mission was to approach the Pharaoh and release his people. Terrified but strengthened spiritually…

God prepares anyone and everyone in times of pressure and weight of a task.

Takes one or two words to reach to Him.

50 shades of grey

(A family-friendly version)

Picture it.

A colourless world.

No palette.

No blues & hues.

A monochrome rainbow.

It could have been that way. But God gave us beauty in shades and shimmering golds and fuschias. I shudder the Indian bride not in traditional red, cowboy jeans as dull as a rain cloud, a planet steeped in dusty grey, When there was nothing in the beginning. His Lordship created. How did He know the colour Merlot would be my favourite!

The human eye detects numerous shades of white and green with precision. (Ever scoured over a paint colour chart?)

Not only is it the eyes that see, but our inner sight (our spiritual eyes that is our heart). See beyond what the outer eyes can see. Envision with internal reflection.

Those who believe and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of God; surely in the remembrance of God do hearts find comfort.

Rain Rain Go Away Come Back Another Day

Why?

The stuff that comes out of taps was that lousy dreary day when the sun didn’t shine. A life force and sustenance for the earth, animals and humans.

Rain is considered a Mercy from God. Not only does it soften the earth, but hearts also.

And God sends down rain from the sky, giving life to the earth after its death. Surely in this is a sign for those who listen.

You’re the inspiration

Wanna have you near me

I wanna have you hear me sayin’

No one needs you more than I need you

The band Chicago? Not in this case.

God says He loves to hear His servant humbly asking for worldly wants and spiritual needs. He says He is in no need of anything. But that it is we that need Him. We are, each and everyone, born with the natural essence of awareness of His existence. It is an innate constitution. This awareness may shine or not in our everyday lives. But He is the All Aware who never moves; He is quietly working His will and ensuring our protection, safeguarding both our physical and spiritual conduct. He is The Patient One, who allows misguidance until guided. Life is short, yet long enough to take a leap into the light of His Grace.

Always on my mind.

In my heart.

In my soul.

Bob Marley is right

Sayin’, “Give thanks and praise to the Lord

And I will feel alright”

Sayin’, “Let’s get together and feel alright”

Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa

Count your blessings. For they are more than you can calculate. A core pillar of faith, giving thanks for the numerous provisions is giving back to the God who gives without measure. From the shoes we wear to the car we drive. From the sight we own to the food we eat.

Just do it.

Thank Him. Praise Him in your own words.

And He will give more.

Love is in the air!

We’ve all been there. When two souls meet that connect and fuse. When eyes lock and hearts are strangely stirred. A common connection felt by both takes place. What is going on? God mentions the Mercy He places between two persons that are destined for unity in friendship and love. He Wills to happen our hearts to connect.  We are told that once in our soul form we beings knew each other; those who got on then will meet a similar fate in worldly form. Those who did not will experience hostility. Soul mates is a real phenomena. Our names are written side by side before we meet in worldly form. When He wills us to meet, He places love and mercy between us. God has power over all things in the heavens and earth. His Divine intervention is a sign of His love for His servants. A profound and spiritual love.

Day & Night

The Day and Night is not science.

It is not mere coincidence.

Writing this as I watched the sun slowly rise was a dear and urgent relief. Never does the Creator wish prolonged darkness and hardship. He causes the light to make its entrance just as the darkness of the night that enables sleep.

Only a God can cause this finely tuned daily pattern. The changing seasons causing long nights in winter; short ones in summer. Without fail this heavenly movement occurs in all its grand beauty. The relief of light; as well as the beauty of dusk at day’s end.

My late sister told me He is the Owner of the Book of Nature.

Creation & Purpose.

Praise be to God. The Creator of the celestial design and the Earth.

Language

Everything in the heavens and the earth comes with universal unity. There can be only one Creator who balances creation on our vast planet and solar system. Language, human form, seasons, movement of the sun and the moon. All exist with harmony.

I once watched a programme called TRIBE. The English explorer meeting with African people from a remote tribe. It never ceases to amaze me that communication is universal, no matter where we originate. Every people on earth can convey love and compassion in their mother tongue. What was striking was how knowledgable the Tribe is, and could easily converse with the English man. (Via an interpreter). Language is a miracle.

Is this not evidence of the greatness and power of one God?

Sustenance

The watermelon that grows in dry conditions. The rice that grows under water. Salt. Peppercorn. Onion. Lemon. Strawberry. Broccoli. Celery. Plum. Rosemary. Chilli. Chocolate. Coffee. Tea. Garlic. Ginger. Sugar. Corn. Tomato. Flour. Water. Meat. Fish. Chicken. I could go on and on. All coincidence. Or the sustenance of a Lord God who provides. From a tiny seed, grows a produce of sweetness or bitterness. Through vines and stems from mere mud we harvest flavoursome food for our sustenance. As far as we are aware food does not grow on planets nearby. So why here on earth? The needs of man are met through miraculous means. A divine intervention. Do we not reflect the food we love to eat? The drink that sustains our bodies? Why does food taste so diverse? Nations and their cuisines. Is all this provision the act of a kind spiritual Lord. Or a relic made by man’s hands? Why do the non believers deny the love of a Higher Being. They eat and take and gorge and be merry. Without a thought for its Provider. The mother cooks but is not the creator of flavour or texture. Like honey and milk. One thick and sweet. One runny and creamy. God says He does not eat. Yet He understands how meat needs salt just as cake needs sugar. Its miraculous growth process in nature gives us reason to reflect the food we take for granted. Coincidence? Or Divine Sustenance from a loving God?

Responder

Almighty God says to call upon Him and He will respond. The outcome of prayer is determined by the intrinsic journey in reaching your responder. Your Lord. Your god. Your divine realm. Who is that? The One who supposedly created you. Your soul. Your body. Or is a man made object created by a humble weak human your responsive Lord? Or is a higher entity? Who guides and wills to happen all that you do? We can wait and see if we called upon God alone without partners or associates. God alone. He is Spiritual in being. Our soul cries out to Him in despair. So He may respond likewise by stirring our soul with answers. His Will encompasses everything. Including ours. An object subject to corrosion? Or a spiritual guide, invisible, hidden. But audible to our souls. Our mind. Our intellect. Think. Who is your Lord God.

My father once said “Your Lord is one God. All these man made gods, all these man made religions are false, wrong”.

I feared my soul at the sound of his words, and registered how stern my father sounded. I sensed fear. For my soul. I later embraced faith. I later learned he spoke the truth.
